I’ve been testing and using 360 for a number of weeks now and having a lot of fun with it. In this video I’ll show you how the new capabilities allow me to synchronize my workflow with ease between my Andriod phone, tablet, Macbook Pro and desktop PC. Along the way I’ll take you on a quick family Milky-Way/van camping adventure in Eastern Oregon.

Question… In the video you show how you edit photos from your camera using ON1 360, and how the edits persist to your laptop/desktop versions of those photos. However, those were all JPGs. Does 360 allow you to sync up your JPG edits back to the original RAW file so you don’t have to re-edit the RAWs?
Thanks!
Eric

I really don’t tend to do mobile edits of my Nikon RAW files. Just quick edits of the JPEG’s I get from the camera via my bluetooth Nikon Snapbridge connection in order to share from the road. If I want to do RAW edits, then I bring my laptop. If I were to sync up my laptop via 360, then yes it would work, but in that case I’d likely use small SSD drives for the data, that I can easily plug in to my desktop to move into my bigger storage system at home.

Thanks, Hudson. I am especially thankful for this video because it made me spend some more time reviewing what 360 can do, especially with my phone. For one thing, I did not realize that I could now being taking pictures with my phone using the 360 app. I take lots of pictures with my phone these days, and this ability with 360 is HUGE for me and Is going to kick start me into using 360 more and more. BTW, I am in awe of your Milky Way image. I am determined to take one of my own one of these days!

Great video as usual. thanks for all the insights, tips and tricks and great information you keep feeding us. I am looking for clarification on there the actual image is stored along with the side car. Once published to the cloud does all the edits reside there? or is there duplicate copies on each device? just a little confused with the dynamics of there things reside. thanks Glenn

By default a smaller proxy file is stored in the cloud. Like a compressed RAW files with all the edits included. If you need the full resolution original, there is a setting you can change to access the full version on any device, but it requires more cloud storage. So far I’m just using proxies.

I’m loving the app. Especially the flexibility for quick edits! I also love the ability to use my iphone to take those instant pictures I may need go capture when my camera is not in reach. For this, I love the focus filter/highlights that allow me to adjust what is in focus!

Does the ON1 Mobile camera tag the photos with GPS info? I took a few in Raw, JPG, and HEIC but don’t see any GPS info. I like taking photos will bike riding and like to have the GPS info so I can see where I took the photos on a map. I do get GPS info if I use the camera app on my phone but not using the ON1 mobile app. I’m using an iPhone 11

It sure can on my Andriod. That’s a setting option. I’m sure it’s the same on the iPhone as Pixel. 🙂
