Wow, nice educational & fun video – thank you. Honestly, one of the first of yours that I have seen and I am more landscape, wildlife focused but this, (both shooting lesson & ON1 work) was very interesting. I will ck out more of your work in this other areas. Thank you.

Hi Tamara,
super tuto, beautiful images+poses and retouching.
I would be interested with a course with more details about camera settings.
I read D850, 120mm F/2.8, 1/250 F2.8.
Did you use ttl or manual flash for fill-in so far from subject (1/250 is not high sync so more power).
I have a d750. Do you use AF-S or AFC (ie: point+d-9) ? how do you track eye at F/1.4..F/2.8
best regards
marc

Thank you, Marc! I usually use manual flash for fill-in, but this one may have been using TTL (which I will use frequently, as well).
As for shooting portraits, I use AF-S (Single shot mode) primarily for my βstillβ portraits, or at least with those subjects who are not moving a lot.
That said, when I shoot with my Z7 or Z6, I now take advantage of EyeAF for portraits, which makes it even easier to shoot very shallow depth of field portraits (even in motion) and still keep a sharp focus on the eyes. If you havenβt used that yet, you can see some of a shoot I did using that here: https://www.nikonusa.com/en/learn-and-explore/a/tips-and-techniques/eye-to-z-eye-af-now-available-for-z-cameras.html
Take care,
Tamara

Very nice video. I usually do landscapes and seascapes but this is a very good explanation of the tools in ON1 for Street. Great subject well presented.
