Lens correction in ON1 Photo RAW 2022.5 is a whole lot better. We have added over 200 new lens profiles, with a focus on the latest mirrorless lenses as well as third-party lenses from Tamron and Sigma. We can also build lens profiles on the fly from information embedded in RAW photos for the rare cases where we don’t have profile already. Last but not least, you can now save an override style to apply the lens profile and manual settings on a per-lens basis. Version 2022.5 will be available June 9th.

Built in lens profile correction sounds fantastic. As a user of a less popular make of cameras and lenses, I am looking forward to this new feature.. 🙂

My Problem is that everytime I create a new preset and apply it to my pictures the lens correction is being set to the one used to create the preset. Even though it is not part of the profile… Is there any fix for this bug or do I either have to not use own presets or if i do so, I have to change the lens correction on everey picture by hand again?

When you save a preset, a dialogue comes up with the settings included in that preset. You will need to uncheck the lens correction, then save the preset. This way you can use the preset no matter which lens you have. I quick way to fix the existing preset is to apply the preset as it is, turn off lens correction in Develop, then go to the settings menu and choose Update Preset with Current Settings. This is not a bug.
