Thanks for watching Brenda! π I’m glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the kind words I appreciate it! Great idea on the Christmas lights – I’ll look into doing a tutorial on enhancing those types of images. I hope you have a great holiday, and we’ll have more videos coming soon. There’s a Plus course (are you a Plus member?) coming soon about bringing landscapes to life if you’re interested!
Cheers!

What I donβt like in these modification videos is the amount of time and adjustments that go into each photo. I donβt have the time to adjust so completely. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback! You could create presets for more in-depth modifications (especially ones that involve using Weather filters, Sun Flares, etc.) and then fine tune for each photo that you apply to. Or are you looking for quick turn around edits? This webinar was heavy on the creative side of things but most edits wouldn’t take this long to complete!

Hi Dylan;
I enjoyed the webinar very much. I went out to one of my images and tried to do some of the same things you had done. I’d like to share it with you but I don’t know how to reach you. The image I chose was from the day after Christmas in 2013 while up in Colorado visiting friends and relatives. Let me know if I can share my image with you and how that would be accomplished.
Thanks again!
Hal

Thanks for watching Hal! Yes I would love to see the image you captured – I will create a forum post for this and you can post it in the forum – https://www.on1.com/plus/forums/topic/holiday-editing-for-beginners-webinar/
Looking forward to seeing your photos! π
Cheers,

I went back and watched again and played around with that bench photo and made a few different edits. I really liked how that flat image was made to really standout without looking too fake.
If you get the chance could you do a tutorial on using layers. I seem to get my edits on layers in the wrong order, and hard to decide when to make a stamped layer etc. So far I mainly do everything on one layer but I think I need to use layers more to get better.

Hi Dylan,
Awesome session. Although I am pretty good at P.S., I really struggle with one. I hope you do lots more of those Beginner courses. Thanks again
