When you’re out capturing photos, raw files are a photo editor’s best friend. Then when you get back to the editing room and open up your raw image, the scene looks nothing like it did when you captured it. Flat, boring, and dull come to mind. In ON1 Photo RAW, taking that raw photo and creating the image you envisioned is easy. Here are three tips for preparing raw files to have a much more pleasant starting point as you begin to edit your raw photo.

Hi Dylan,
Excellent.. Good reminders on the power of blending modes, and also the power of global adjustments, and curves.
Thanks,

Thanks Dylan, your video really demonstrates the speed and power of ON1. Very simple adjustments with the camera develop settings, followed by in depth ability to tweak to optimise the image. Great stuff.
The curves with luminosity blend is one I will be working with more as the outcome was really good. I would be interested to understand the differences between the ON1 develop settings and the Camera develop settings.
