It’s also a huge benefit for our international customers. We’ve been working on this and a lot more. Stay tuned!

Great addition, looking forward to the release! Shortcuts for Exposure, Contrast, etc will work – will it be similar to Capture One 21’s speed edit (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHd74DiCILo)? Fingers crossed!

This is correct. We will have another video showing that soon!

Are there any plans to let the user export the customized keyboards to transfer and import to another computer?
On March 23, 2021 at 11:23 am Patrick Smith replied:
Great request. I don’t think that’ll be in this release, but will make sure Dan sees this.

Since I have a desktop for home and a tablet for the road, having a “save/restore” or “export/import” would be wonderful. More important is to ensure custom settings are preserved between releases.

This looks like it will be a useful feature thanks! Also, I’m REALLY hoping this version will support Sony A1 raw files. Specifically lossless compressed.

Thanks for the upcoming keyboard editor. I love using shortcuts and to make them customised is fantastic news. It means I can make the shortcuts memorable for myself.

In the video’s example, what would happen if that Command-E shortcut had already been assigned to another shortcut? Hopefully the system has been programmed to smartly alert about the conflict, explaining what currently is assigned to shortcut Command-E, right?

Thanks please expedite the support of Sony A1 files. We are waiting as other softwares have caught up and we still cannot process these files.

Great update long overdue. If a previously assigned keyboard shortcut is input will the system highlight the problem, indicate where used and prompt another combination?
On April 23, 2021 at 9:41 am Dan Harlacher replied:
You bet, if there’s a conflict it will warn you and give you the option to keep it or change it. There are some that are reserved too, based on the operating system.

All of the preview area commands are included in the menus, so yes you can customize all of them.

Thanks, Dan, for the news and the short presentation. That’s really great news! Have been waiting so long for this bracket key replacement option… I have even changed my keyboard. I definitely love shortcuts! 🙂 I look forward to this new version which surely will come along with further improvements.

I was able to get a peek at the new release and all the slider and shortcut features are terrific and work exactly as show in Dan’s demo. I was never able to get my Wacom tablet to work with the pen pressure control of the mask. I swapped it out for another make and have the control wheel configured to provide this functionality. I did try the pen pressure on the new release and no go.
